On this interactive blog, we intend to focus on proper planning for the ideal fishing trip. In order to achieve that, we will start by analyzing the purpose of the trip, duration, location, weather, geography, infrastructure, safety and a host of other items that are equally as important. We learn best through experience so I invite you to share your memorable fishing escapades; even the tall tales that your friends might have shared with you are highly appreciated.
Any savvy fishermen will tell you, that you need more than bait, pole and hooks, to have a successful and satisfying fishing expedition! Of course you know that this comes from experience, some good and others very bad.
In the following weeks and months ahead, I will share with you my best fishing experiences and hope you do too. As for now, I'll just ask that you remember to bring your cell phone with you and if you can not bring a friend along, make a point to inform one or two reliable family members that you're going out fishing. You might also want to disclose the location of your trip. This is for your own safety; at least it gives them a starting point if you should not make it back home!!
